We are currently undergoing changes to our program and will redesign our site to better reflect these changes in the fall.
Youth Net Hamilton is a program of Hamilton Public Health Services. Youth Net aims to promote mental health through meaningful engagement in youth-to-youth dialogue, project work and leadership opportunities.
After 13 years of running a successful health promotion program in schools, Youth Net Hamilton conducted a review of the program and began a pilot in March 2014. The pilot program focuses on social connectedness between youth, their peers, adult allies, and their communities.
Youth in Hamilton have optimal mental health. They are connected to their community, talking openly about mental health and illness and experiencing minimal stigma and discrimination.
